Saturday, April 1 (April Fool's Day)- we left at 5. thats AM by the way... as in 5 in the morning... as in early. the bus ride wasnt all that bad really. we slept most of the way. watched madagascar and some of hitch and ate gummi worms. that made it better... lol. we got there at about 5 i think. then we unpacked, got ready and went to damons. i didnt like it. it took forever and akers had to send her food back twice. that wasnt the main event of the nite tho. when we got back we had a team meeting outside by the pool. let me just say that we werent ABOUT to let april 1st pass by w/o a prank. neways... me, akers, jordo, heather, and allie ran up to our room to get "ready" while mikal and irwin were still downstairs. mikal went up to dave and said "dad, we need to talk to you." so he asks whats up and irwin says "well we hate to be the ones to rat our teammates out but we really think some of them are smoking. we caught them talking about it once and asked them and they wouldnt tell us anything and changed the subject really fast. their smoke detector even went off today. they said it was from the steam in the shower but we dont believe that. were really worried." then dave asked who it was and irwin said "well allie i think." he asks who else and irwin says "i think rachel is too." he said " WHAT??? RACHEL? " i cracked up when they told me that!!! so hes getting really upset at this point and they go up to our room to check it out. in the meantime, we are up in the room putting cigarette butts on the table and a pack of them on the bed. we even put the smoke detector on the table and took the batteries out of it. dave knocks on the door and i said who is it. he said open this door and u could for sure tell he was mad. so i sprayed air freshener all over the place to make it look like we were hiding the smoke. we didnt answer the door for a long time to make him think that we were hidin somethin. finally i open the door and joey is with him but doesnt kno wat is goin on. they come in and dave says "why do u have 2 spray air freshener b4 i walk in this room?" jordan said "cuz heather took a crap." he sad ya sure i bet. he asked wat was goin on and we said nothin but acted really nervous.. and guilty. irwin walked over to the some detector and held it up and said "see dave this is wat i was talkin about." he said "wats this?". and allie said "i took a shower and the steam made it go off." he said "ya im sure thats wat happened. tell me the truth." we said " thats the truth." he kept bein real sarcastic and thats when u can tell that hes really mad. and he was certainly really mad at this point. he turns his back and i run over to the cigarette butts and brush them off the table real quick. you could still see that ashes and the cigarettes fell in front of the table. he sees them and i tried to throw a pillow on top of them to look like i was hidin it and he still said "ohh... whats this?" i said "uh those arent ours." he says " im sure there not. i bet someone is just using your room to smoke right?" joey sees the cigarettes on the bed and picks them up and hes so mad that he cant even look at them so he just turned his head and handed them to dave. then akers walks out of the bathroom and sees dave and runs back in with an empty beer bottle in her back pocket (thanks dads) he said "heather wat are you doin? get back out here!" then he looks at us and says "alrite i want some answers RITE NOW or im gettin parents." at this point we were honestly afraid that he was going to have a heart attack so we all said APRIL FOOLS!!! omg it was hilarious... the bets prank i have ever been invovled in.. good job guys. im SOOO proud of that!!! lol.
Sunday, April 2nd- we hung out at the hotel for awhile then had practice for three hours... long one. later we went to medieval times dinner show. it was really cool. i thought it would suck but it was fun. we had the black and white knight and he shouldve won but he got cheated.i didnt get a rose tho :( haha thats ok. the food was even really good. gah that chicken... me and boggs really enjoyed that lol. after dinner we went putt-putting. me, jess, boggs, whit, akers, and mikal all went. i made a bet w/ dave and he beat me by one so i had to call him sweetie pie for the whole week (not funny)
Monday, April 3rd- we went to the beach and hung out at the hotel for a little bit then went to our game at 1. omg it was soooo hot. we played east ridge and won. i think i was 1 for 3. i just about didnt make it through that game tho, almost had a heat stroke lol. myrtle beach, 1:00 in the afternoon and catcher's gear dont go together. lol. that night we went to eat and then bed.
Tuesday, April 4th- we went to the beach again until 1 and then went to eat lunch at k&w. it was fun. i got whipped cream thrown in my face by josie who said it was akers so i got akers back and josie (u dirty dog) got off free. then we went back to the hotel and rested until about 3 then got ready for the 5 o clock game. we played myrtle beach and won 16-10 i was 3 for 4 with a triple. that was prolly my best game. and i had to play left field agian no fun at all. lol. we played socastee at 7 and lost i was 1 for 2. then went home.
Wednesday, April 5th- same thing as tuesday for the morning and afternoon. played carolina forest at 5. lost 7 to 6 but we played really good. i was 2 for 4. at 7 we played st. james and ive never seen hitting like that in my life. i swear one girl the size of josie hit a liner to the fence. it was crazy. well we lost that game, to say the least. haha. went to grab some food at mcdonalds then went to the hotel
Thursday, April 6th- free day.. went to broadway at the beach and did some shoppin. lexie built a doll at the build a bear place. shes so cute... lol. she had alot of fun. then we ate at johnny rockets which was great. shopped some more went back to the hotel then went to wat at captain georges. it was good too. i had tons of crab legs. then we went mini golfin for a rematch. same ppl. it was me, boggs, akers, and mikal against dave, joey, pat and bill. whoever lost had to do 25 on demand push-ups (each person). we won!!!! they all had to do five in front of the course and everyone was gathered around watching them and laughing. gah it was hilarious. i lost to dave tho so that means i have to call him sweetie pie the rest of the season. that SUCKS. haha.
Friday, April 7th- free day again. went to the nike outlet and spent 112 dollars. bought new shox and some other cool stuff. i got alot of clothes at aeropostale too. went back to the hotel and hung out then went w/ akers, mikal, irwin, and d-carp to the souvenir shops and to the pavillion. it was fun. we went to ripleys haunted advernture and i almost peed on myself. sad part is, we didnt go in. lol the guys on the outside scared me tho. we did go in the haunted house at the pavillion tho. me and ak screamed like crazy. later went back to the hotel and tried to pull another prank on dave but sadly it didnt work. ate pizza and packed then went to sleep.
Saturday, April 8th- bus ride... not fun and i was sad that we were leavin. i had such a great time and cant wait to go back next year. i think we played great too... oh we were down there for softball werent we? lol... j/k
